We will be raising Cornish Cross Chickens as our meat bird breed of choice.
This breed of chicken is ready for processing just 8 weeks after we receive them as day old chicks. They will be ready for pick up in early January 2027.
Our chickens have averaged 6-8 lbs when we have had them processed in the past. This is typically 2x the weight of a whole chicken you can purchase at the grocery store.
We will finalize the price once we get all our orders in, but the price will be around $25 per chicken.
This is the price for a whole or quartered chicken. These will be bone-in and skin-on.
Our chickens will be kept inside eating a High quality meat bird feed for the first 1.5-2 weeks then will live outside in our garden area for the remaining 6 weeks prior to processing. We let them free range, eat bugs and act like a normal chicken - giving you better quality meat in the end.
We will be raising White Broad Breasted Turkeys as our Turkey breed of choice.
This breed of chicken is ready for processing at 14 weeks after we receive them as day old chicks. They will be ready for pick up in early March 2027.
This is our first time feeding out turkeys so this is all new to us but we are estimating between 10-15 lbs of meat when processed.
This is our first time with Turkeys - we are estimating price per bird to be $65 (which is just our estimated cost per bird)
The more customers that order turkeys the more flexibility there is for the price to lower per bird. We will provide the final cost once we have all orders in.
